I created this short comic about transgender activist Lou Sullivan with the help of the GLBT Historical Society located in San Francisco. I was able to access his original diaries which he kept from the time he was 11 years old until his death at age 39. His letters and correspondences with medical professionals, other trans people, and LGBT related newsletters and publications are also available. This was all donated by him prior to his death so that people would be able to access these rich primary documents in the future. Thanks Lou!!
